2 months already???

I CANNOT believe that Luke is already two months old.... soon he will be 2 years old and then 20 years old!!  I am always asking him to slow down because I want him to stay a baby for longer!!!  It's crazy how much he has grown.  At his 2 month appt today he weighed 13 lbs 15 oz.  He's getting the cutest rolls on his legs and arms and a big ole belly - I just love it!!!

At 2 months old Luke:
- loves bathtime!!!!
 
 
-  loves his yellow giraffe that plays music
 
 
-  ADORES his swing and staring at the "baby" in the mirror
 
 

 
-  is a morning person
 
 
-  has tummy issues still that Mommy and Daddy are trying to figure out still!
-  Spits up a lot
-  has a strong head and neck and holds it up when being burped on our knee
 
 


 
-  gets fussy in the afternoons
 
 
 
-  goes to bed by 8am and pretty much eats and goes back to bed in the middle of the night 
-  wakes up by 730ish in the AM

Trash the Dress Photo Shoot

One of the ideas that I KNEW i wanted to try after my wedding was a "trash the dress" photo shoot.  I am a photography snob and I wanted pictures that would be beautiful and creative and unique.  As soon as I mentioned it to my photographer he was immediately on board with the idea.  I am so pleased with how they turned out.  I highly encourage any bride who wants memorable photographs to give it a try.  I didn't (and still don't) have a preconceived notion that my future daughters will want to wear my dress.  I want them to wear their own dress and create their own memories.  So I wasn't worried about "ruining" the dress.  This was also the same location that we got married at too so it was special to come back to the same place.  Getting into the water   The beautiful waterfall  I loved the black and white shots  Finally laying down in the cool waters     again i loved the bl...

yup... another rant

So in a previous blog post , I mentioned my disdain for my current professor.  It seems that my professor has yet again made me want to scream in frustration.  I have turned in 3 papers starting 5 weeks ago.  He has just NOW graded them this weekend and provided me with the following feedback.  In timeline order: Friday night first paper grade of 90 - He mentions formatting is not quite what he was looking for and tells me to look at Lieber Light Case as example.  Direct Quote " You earned a 90% on your Palladium case brief.   If you make the above changes to your next case it will improve the readability and flow of the case." (The Lieber Light case is actually different than the handout he gave us in class.  I followed the example he gave us in class and I don't recall him EVER saying to follow the Lieber Light example.  AND i can't do it on my next paper because he took 5 freaking weeks to grade it and i'd al...

Hopes and Dreams

Richie and I have been trying to get pregnant since August/September.  It's been a really frustrating process to say the least.  At first things seems to be pretty regular and I figured it was only a matter of time.  But then somewhere in February my body decided to pack up shop.  I won't go into the details but it left me despairing that my body was failing me.  Month after month I was beyond frustrated.  So much so that my Dr. finally suggested a medicine called clomid that is a low dose fertility drug that regulates your ovulation.  So i took the first dose of it in May.   Meanwhile very, very few people knew of our plans because we didn't want the pressure of people watching us and waiting for it.    Then the Sunday of mother's day I woke up after having this dream:  Richie and I were sitting on the couch in my parents house.  My whole family knew that I was pregnant already but they didn't know I had ...
